AJ just came out and got our heater up and running again. We have been dreading the day we will need to replace it, so much in fact that I called him in to fix our fireplace to see if we could get the heat up in our house. Nights are frigid; we have woken up to as low as 52 degrees! Deciding that the heat issues could be a safety problem, I asked him to check it out. He found a voltage problem, cleaned the faulty part, and came up to look at our fireplace. While diagnosing a possible issue, he decided to recheck the heater as it had kicked off again. What he found was that the inside coil was as clogged with pet hair (which he showed me) causing the heater to kick off as the internal temperature was over the preset safety protocols. Our house is now at 70 and we couldn’t be happier!
